
Established in 1928, we are a growing, family owned, international wholesale company with multiple locations. We grow locally at our farms in Abbotsford and Langley BC, distribute through our locations in Ontario and British Columbia, import and source from our Holland location and from around the world.
We are seeking a key individual to learn our business and work as a Part-Time Web and SEO Coordinator in our busy Langley office. This is a great opportunity to combine web expertise and working in the horticulture industry with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.
You have a passion for the horticulture industry and the ability to combine your web experience with your love and knowledge of horticulture. You will partner with other departments within the company to maintain our websites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing Shopify and WordPress websites through updates, creation of new pages, and managing security.
- Create, update and maintain multiple product lines and administer seasonal product line switch overs.
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure product information accuracy.
- Develop and implement an SEO strategy for all websites.
- Write and optimize website content and blog posts for SEO and user experience
- Audit websites regularly to find and resolve technical SEO issues. Ensure all pages are optimized for SEO best practices.
- Carry out ad campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram. Schedule email campaigns.
- Provide management with website analytics and recommendations to help grow our customers' online revenue channels.
- Provide technical support to customers using our websites, and resolve issues related to website functionality and user experience.
- Manager customer databases and update as required.
- Liaise with the Social Media team to provide insights for social media purposes
- Stay informed about new opportunities and technologies to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with Shopify and WordPress.
- Graphic design for web, email marketing and social media is an asset
- Understanding of E-commerce/web marketing
- Understanding of CMS and ecommerce platforms
- Strong knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Degree in a related field
- Impeccable English communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strong communication skills in a digital context, team building skills and the ability to adapt to business needs.
In addition, the ideal candidate is task-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills. The candidate must think creatively, be detail-oriented and thrive under pressure. They should have good communications skills and perform well in a team environment. We are only interested in candidates who can work out of our Langley office. We are not looking for candidates who want to work remotely.
